Over the last ten years, and largely due to personal recommendations, Arwyn Hughes has grown to become one of the most established and trusted funeral directors on the Isle of Anglesey. Serving all areas of the island as well as Gwynedd, we have our own Chapel of Rest and office located at the peaceful village of Marian-Glas, Anglesey.

We pride ourselves on offering the best service possible and do so much more than simply organise funerals. We are renowned for our professional, caring, and respectful manner, overseeing all requests and wishes to ensure the day of the service is carried out just as planned.

Given the privilege to act on your behalf during your time of grief, you will liaise personally with either Arwyn or Fiona Hughes, or a member of their professional staff, who will attend to all your needs providing the utmost attention to all your requirements.

Arwyn Hughes Funeral Director is a proud member of The National Association of Funeral Directors, NAFD, the country’s longest established and most representative funeral trade organisation which has been supporting the funeral trade for over one hundred years. We undergo regular inspections of premises and paperwork to ensure compliance and abide by the NAFD’s Code of Practice. As part of the NAFD’s Code of Practice and Rules, Arwyn Hughes Funeral Director is bound to comply with the Funeral Arbitration Scheme – an independent Conciliation in the unlikely event that families are not satisfied with the funeral of their loved one.
